APRIL: MARKET SIGNS

Updated: Jul 2, 2019

28% increase from April 2018 to 2019 in new sales

contracts signed means it remains a seller's market?

The market continues to be a seller's market with buying activity increasing by over 28%, compared to the same time last year. However, supply is keeping ahead of demand as inventories continue to rise with 9% increase in Prescott and a 50% in crease in Dewey-Humboldt. Of course a rise in inventory is normal for this time of year. We continue to have about 3 month supply of homes. Median price also rose sharply from April 2018 in all 4 cities. See below for city by city numbers or click here for charts and and graphs. CONCLUSION: It it still a seller's market and we can expect to see continued appreciation at least throughout the summer months an into the fall.
